Precious Moments figurines can be used as cake toppers, and they do make African American wedding couples.
Blackshear figures are very nice and detailed. They're a tad pricey, though. Perhaps you could have a cake topper that doesn't have people, like your initials or just flowers, instead of a figurine.

There are some companies online who are making wedding cake toppers according to the customer's idea. So, you can try one of those companies. But before choosing one you should see some samples of their previous works.

I just got married this past Saturday and we chose our wedding cake to have have flowers on the top cascading down the side and it was beautiful. We didn't use the cake topper.

try www.customweddingsolutions.com They have one called "expressions of love" that has an African-American couple standing on a gorgeous base. Its $35.99 . They also have the individual couples and other bases to choose from.
I think they are running a special right now too, where you can get a free hotel stay at lke 21 places if you spend like $150. Great Deal!
Check em out.

well, i always get the Wilton cake decorating year book, and it has wedding cake couples, black and white, several to choose from. you can find it maybe at walmart in the craft section with cake decorating supplies, or else at a craft & hobby store like hobby lobby, in cake decorating supplies.
