3-Way Calling on a VTech cordless non-mobile phone?

How can I have 3-way call on a VTech cordless? It is NOT a cell phone. It is a regular phone.

call your first party, tell them to hold on a minute, then click the switch/flash button, dial the other number, and hit the switch/flash button again....

Need to make sure that you are either subscribed to 3 Way Calling with your landline carrier or they allow you to access it on a per-use basis. Use the "flash" key, not the "talk" key, to access the 3rd party dialtone while you're on a call and to patch that party onto your existing call.
