I dont want to spend alot more than around 550-600. I preferably want an autoloader but pumps will work too. I was looking at the browning BPS hunter and the stoeger model 2000 but if you have any other good suggestions let me know.

the browning bps is a great gun for the money. 870 Remington is hard to beat also, you can neglect it and it will keep working. If you truly want an auto loader you need to allow for a larger budget. You will need to be able to spend $800-$1400 for a good quality auto like a benieli, Beretta, or a Remington. Don't skimp on price with a shotgun because you will get what you pay for.

If you want a semi auto shotgun go with Berretta or Benelli. Pump go with Remington 870, Mossberg 500, or Winchester 1300. Don't have any experience with the Browning so can't personally recommend it but have not heard anything but either.

Remington 1187 would be my choice in an autoloader and the 870 for a pump.
The Benelli Nova is also nice

For that price you should be able to get a good Remington 870 Wingmaster with 3 or 4 chokes and possible a 2nd rifled barrel

Remington 1100 if you have to have an auto.

In pumps the Rem. 870, Winchester 1300, Benelli Nova, Ithaca 87, are all good choices.

Pumps are cheaper, but to me easier to maintain and you get more bang for the buck and can accessorize them to fit different needs.

how 'bout a benelli if you want an autoloader?? I'm a cheapskate tho, I still love my mossberg 500 and my remington 870 if you want a pump for half the price you wanna spend. :)

Charles Daly makes a real good semi-auto at a very good price!! You can get one with interchangeable chokes. In black synthetic or any number of camo patterns.

well lets see....? you can use ebay.com to find a new short gun.
It's a great site to get stuff from cause I just got a brand new still in the box 9mm pistol today from that site and it works great. You do have to make sure they will ship the item to you if you live over seas though.
