I really can't stand chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, it's gross to me. I only like it with chile or spices, like in Mole, and I even add lemon to that. Lemon is wonderful to me, I love lemony everything. Is this strange?

Rick, prepare the suace first, put it on whatever you choose, then add lemon as if it were a condement. It's good.

I love extra dark chocolate, however I would choose lemons over it any day. Mmmm. Lemons. The smell. The taste. The feel. The sight.
----

Ode to the Lemon (Pablo Neruda)

From blossoms
released
by the moonlight,
from an
aroma of exasperated
love,
steeped in fragrance,
yellowness
drifted from the lemon tree,
and from its planetarium
lemons descended to the earth.

Tender yield!
The coasts,
the markets glowed
with light, with
unrefined gold;
we opened
two halves
of a miracle,
congealed acid
trickled
from the hemispheres
of a star,
the most intense liqueur
of nature,
unique, vivid,
concentrated,
born of the cool, fresh
lemon,
of its fragrant house,
its acid, secret symmetry.

Knives
sliced a small
cathedral
in the lemon,
the concealed apse, opened,
revealed acid stained glass,
drops
oozed topaz,
altars,
cool architecture.

So, when you hold
the hemisphere
of a cut lemon
above your plate,
you spill
a universe of gold,
a
yellow goblet
of miracles,
a fragrant nipple
of the earth's breast,
a ray of light that was made fruit,
the minute fire of a planet.

I don't think it's strange because everyone has different taste buds. However, I do love chocolate... but when there's a chocolate pie and a lemon pie... I tend to get the lighter one such as the lemon pie in this case. So.. I don't know. Enjoy your lemony life. =)

No way Honey!!!! I put lemon in almost anything...soup, salad, meats, chicken, drinks. I'd pick lemon over chocolate ANY time! I'm just not that fond of chocolate (I don't care too much for ice cream either, but sorbet rules!! Lemon of course!)

I love lemons over chocolate, too. I guess it's a citrus thing. But I don't like oranges and don't care for lime. Hmmm...go figure.

I hope it's not strange. My favorites include lemon meringue pie, lemon cake, and lemon herb chicken.
Never tried lemon with mole, how to do?

Hey, you're not alone! I have a friend who adores lemon and other citrus and seems indifferent to chocolate. I believe, though, that you and she are in the minority.
