i've noticed that all my questions or almost all are about shcooll.
but not the point.

i'm thinking of dropping AP economics and swtiching to honors due to my cluelessness on the matter. we only do it for half a year though and then switch to gov. but then take the AP tests. i'm worried for that and the other tests in that class. junior year is just being a pain and another stress spot i don't need.
any advice?

I am a college student and I would say this: if you think there is any way you can possibly do well in the classes, you should take them and take the tests. They will help you so unbelievably no matter what college you go to. You cannot imagine how great it feels to test out of intro classes and work toward your major that much sooner.
On the other hand, if you think you simply CANNOT do well enough in the class to sustain your goal GPA, then I would say, drop to honors.

I, like you I assume, was gifted in many things, however Economics was never one of them. I got straight C's in every Econ class I ever had. If I were you, I'd stay in the AP if I felt I could pull off at least a B because it shows colleges your willingness to successfully do college-level work, then when the time comes to take the AP exam (which you're not obligated to take) decide whether you've learned enough to get a 3 or higher, then decide whether or not to take it. If you don't think you can pull off at least a B, and you feel your GPA might suffer from this class, then I'd go into the honors class instead. Good luck!

Only continue in the AP course if it will for sure count as a college credit. (check with the college you plan on attending). AP classes do not always replace the college courses like they are intended too. I did well on the English AP test but AP English did not replace any college course for me. I still had to take ENG 1010 before taking ENG 2010 and ENG 2600 in college.

in case you're in honors stay in it, that's greater durable now yet universities examine back on each thing so even although you dont want it for AP its nevertheless well worth it (greater pay perhaps even 10,000 greater a 365 days) :D

You should speak to your parents and your Guidance Counselor at school they should help you make the right choice for you. If you can get AP credits now it will only help you when you apply to colleges.
