do you swallow vomit that comes up your throat? Like when you burp, some comes up. I mean, it seems impossible to be able to get it up your throat to spit it out.

i don't think i have acid reflux, but i do eat a lot of spicy foods. Maybe I eat too much? I don't know.

I think I know what your talking about. I have acid reflex. Sometimes when I eat spicy food I have that. I do the same thing. That's probably all it is. Dose it happen when you eat something spicy, drink or smoke? These are all things that cause acid reflex (hear burn)

It's a reflex thing. You either swallow fast or barf right there where you are, right? That's not always a handy place.
If I'm standing right over the toilet, well....let 'er fly! But if it all of the sudden comes up in church or at work? Yeah, I'm going to swallow like a Saturday night hooker 'til I can get to a can!

Yes, your not always in a place where one can spit it out. It comes up so fast and by the time you realize its vomit you swallow it. Your not alone.

I think it has happened to every one at some time - you just don't have time to spit it out before it just goes back down - don't really know what to say it happens nothing you can do about it

I don't think it's impossible; I think that it's usually just such a surprise that you swallow it quickly without having time to really react and spit it out.

I think it has something to do with acid reflux...I could be wrong, but don't feel like the lone ranger, it's happened to me before, too.

sounds like you have a bit of acid refulx

try a rolaids or and antacid daily

It is gross, but I don't think that it comes far enough up to be able to spit it out.

if it was acid reflux you would know... you may be suffering from heart burn maybe but then you may be over eating..
