Like a teddy bear, huh?
Most boys are "grown ups" now and "big kids" don't like baby toys. Unless your guy friend is mature enough to appreciate it - I doubt he'd like it much.
I would love a home made teddy bear - the craft, the thought and the effort would blow me away. But, I am almost 50 years old and not worried at all or threatened at all about my masculinity!

If he is any kind of friend, he'll appreciate the time and effort you put into it. But I don't know many guys who are into teddy bears. How about a comforter with his favortie team logo on it.
They are easy to make. Get two sheets in the colors of the team and put them together with a batting in between. Mark out a grid every four inches and use a yarn needle and yarn to tue it together. Use fabric paint or an iron on to put to logo on.
That way, he has a cozy blanky that he can use to keep warm. and every time he uses it, he'll think of you.
Much better then a bear.

I think he'll appreciate a gift handmade by you. There's a personal touch to it that would make any sensible person you give the gift to a sense of being special.

It would be really sweet. If hes really sweet he will save it and give it to his child one day. I did that with some Vermont teddies men gave me. Of course I never told anyone their origin.

Sure it's cute if it's a guy giving this to a girl..but the other way around? lol i doubt it. If he's gay or metro he'll really like this present, otherwise..you think you might wanna reconsider.

Yes great idea,,anything made from yourself shows him you took the time to do it yourself. And he knows you really care about him. From the heart is the best way to go.

I think that would be sweet and thoughtful on your behalf and I feel your guy friend will be quite impressed by it as well.
