If you meet a guy somewhere and you are the one that comes up to him, and in the end he ends up asking for your number, how long do you have until you know he won't call you. lol. When should you run out of hope, after 3days, 5days, etc?

It's always good to assume the best instead of the worst. If a man really likes you he'll usually call you within 1 to 4 days. Of course there are plenty of exceptions to that rule. If he has a really busy life or is maybe even dating 1 or 2 other people casually, it might take him more than a week to call you and it might not have any reflection on how he really feels towards you.
But if you were my sister and he waited longer than 4 days to call you I'd advise you to "be careful" with this guy. Always assume he's seeing someone else casually unless you are proven otherwise.
Most guys are wusses and will probably call you the same night or the next day. Personally, if I like someone and I can call them I'll usually call them in 1 to 2 days, though there have been times when I've had to rush out of town on business, left their telephone # at home and didn't call them until I came back. So you've got to calibrate the situation.

If he is really interested, it won't take him more than 2 days. If he called after that, I would act really nonchalant, and say something like "Who is this again?" If he hasn't called after 5 days, forget him!! Even if his excuse is "I was really busy", or something like that, remember it only takes 1 minute to make a phone call and say, "I'm busy this week, but I will call you as soon as I can". If and when he finally calls (if it's been over 2 days)DO NOT act happy to hear from him! Give up hope after 5 days, and if you have caller i.d. DON'T answer the phone if it is him. You may be tempted to, but believe me you will feel like a fool, if he doesn't have a good excuse for not calling. And the only acceptable one would be if he was in the hospital!!

Wait til the next day, or actual ideally Monday now. i'm no women folk guy yet I even have had my share of success. possibly extra importantly, I even have an extremely captivating 23 12 months old sister. She is ideal and adult males are dating her, continuously soliciting for dates. in accordance to her, she says in case you call too quickly, she gets aggravating and thinks it shows a definite desperation. in case you wait 5 days or close to to a week, then it shows you're no longer that "fascinated." So, my advice is provide it 2 to 3 days. This shows you're very fascinated yet which you're additionally "your person guy" and bring different interests on your existence different than for the romantic ones. In different words, you're no longer sitting by the telephone desirous to call her today yet you nevertheless teach you're very fascinated.

The guy will usually call me after 3 days. If he calls before then, I wouldn't know cause I don't sit by the phone waiting on someone to call. If he calls, there is a coversation. If he don't, oh well

In my opinion, i wont take a call or date from a man if he does not call within three days. Anything longer than three days is plain rude, unless there is a truthful and viable excuse.
Boys that wait that long are generally, cocky or not very intrested.

I am not much for rules I would the next day or two if you wait to long they may be out and forget about you. but its in your court you have the # and the power. hahahahahahahahhaahhaha
