There's this guy on my swim team who's two years older than me. I'm a freshman and he's a junior. He's offered me rides many times and stayed with me while I was waiting for my ride once although my coach was still there waiting with me also. Once at a swim meet, he kept bringing up guys who are on the team and asking if I liked any one of them. He gives me compliments about things and when this other girl on my swim team asked him to go with her to homecoming as friends he said yes. When she was telling me about it. He came up and jokingly asked me if I was jealous. I think it's over a 6 month period that he did all this. At homecoming he complimented me on how I looked and asked if I came with a date. He asked me about the guys I danced with. But when we email he usually gives 5 word answers and I know he's really nice to everyone. So does he like me?

Sorry if you already answered my question. I just never got any thorough answers.

They say girls are hard to read but i think boys can be when they are younger. I see from everything that you have put on here that Yes to me he seems interested in you. He is putting all the signs out there that he is. As to why is only types 5 word answers to be honest most guys do not like to type on computers. Try this give him your phone number if your parents do not mind and his of course and talk to him on the phone and see if he does the same thing. It is something about typing on the computer that they do not like. every guy i have ever talked to on here does that same thing. But over all i think that if you are interested in him by far take the next step and ask him if he would like to call you sometime. Besides it never hurts to add another freind to your long list. Can never have enough friends.

Sound like he is a confident friendly guy. Not every male who pays you any kindness is into you sexually. On the other hand, maybe there was some flirting going on, but he isn't one to focus on one girl when there isn't any real relationship going on.

Also, males are less verbal then females, so that is probably why he gives such brief answers. I would tell you to be friendly and open if he show any other interest, but don't pin your young heart on this one guy.

guys are weird like that. when i was a freshman a junior guy asked me to homecoming..but it was weird because i couldn't really tell if he liked me and it turned into this huge ordeal that ruined my freshman and sophomore year of highschool. i'm a junior now and finally learned that one person shouldn't ruin half of my highschool "experience", and i can never have it back. i think you should plainly ask him if he likes you, or as many of us do, get one of your friends to ask him for you. if the answer is no, you'll get over it. learn from my mistake. good luck!

this guy sounds like he is one of 2 things... into his own ego or he is into you and just does not know how to come to terms with a freshman........ sorry, I think it is the first one..... or I could be so wrong........ he may be under peir pressure about being attracted to a mer freshman......... catch him alone and take a deap breath and just ask him what his deal is........ you can do it !!!!! God bless

Yep. Definitely yes. Certainly yes. And yeah, he likes you.

Do you like him?

If yes, you better ask him this, "You know, you've been very nice to me.. blah. blah.. blah.. and whatnot.. so, do you like me? Because, I felt like there's 'something' between us and I think.. I like you, too"

If no, forget about him and just think that he's nice to everyone..
