I am trying to upload a picture on Mate1,and it will not upload, what am I doing wrong? Help?

Check that your photo is not too big or too small. Also check what extension you have on your photo. I know that a jpeg can be read easily by other computers whereas a psd could only be read by Photoshop.

Maybe you should check the security settings of your computer like the internet security settings or fire wall. if the settings are too high, you wont be able to upload or download anything. or there could be a problem with your computer or the website. try checking your internet surfing program (internet explorer, netscape etc)
