Girls who are shy/insecure might be reluctant to let go and moan and writhe around, and probably aren't living completely in the moment during sex. It's like if a girl plays with your crotch while you're trying to watch something important on TV, it might physically "feel good" but that doesn't mean you're really into it mentally or that it could bring you to orgasm. If she's too preoccupied with her insecurities to really relax and get off, there may be nothing you can do, except trying to help her become more comfortable and relaxed with you. Oh, and make sure she's not watching TV during sex.
To help a woman's security in the bedroom:
Always tell her how beautiful and sexy she is. And be sincere. Give details about what you love about her body. NEVER talk about bodily flaws you see in her. She will never forget that and will obsess over it forever. Make her feel that any flaws she sees in herself are invisible to you. Kiss her all over. Make her feel sexy, loved, appreciated.
