NyQuil is my favorite for when I'm trying to get some rest. Drink tea for the throat, and use honey, I don't like lemon b/c it works against my dry throat b/c its so sour. Definitely chicken soup, and no the condensed kind, the $3 a can kind! Oh, and try to keep your nose lubricated, I usually use my Chapstic, b/c it really hurts after wiping it a thousand times. I hope you feel better!

take Neo Citran Lemon Drink and rest. Drink plenty of fluids.

For your sore throat nothing beats Zinc Lozenges. You can pick them up at the vitamin counter in any store. Excellent and it also gets rid of your cold faster.

Also we've tried it and it works super fast but it's expensive. They say that this is what professional athletes use.
It's called " Cold F X "

Nyquil or Dayquil are great...or you could just take Tylenol. It'll help with the aches and pains and any fever you may have. Make sure you get lots and lots of clear fluids. (Water, juice, gatorade, etc.) Get tons of rest; as much as you can. Take hot showers - the steam will break up your congestion.

i have been a student of natural medicine for about 10 years now. lavender oil has been one of my most cherished finds. it is called essential oil and can be purchased in any health food store. NOW is a good inexpensive brand. this is a natural antibiotic and anti viral. i use it on cuts, insect bites, poison ivy and other external problems. for a cold, allergy, flu, i take a glass of water and drop in about 2 to 3 drops. stir it up and take a sip about three to four times a day. i cover the glass with plastic wrap for sanitary reasons. everyone that i have shared this with loves it. small children just give less....a little many times a day is the secret...this can not be taken in large doses that can be dangerous.
