Pretty bad! Your body will go into starvation mode and your metabolism may never fully return to what is was. To lose weight you are supposed to eat MORE often, not less often! That way your body keeps burning. Did you know some food you can eat actually burns more calories being digested than they provide? They are usually called negative calorie foods - you can lose more weight eating those than nothing at all! By the way, would it be worth losing 5 lbs in that one week, if the very next week you put on 8 lbs?? Thats what would happen. Don't do it.

Don't even try if for a week. It's not healthy and what you lose, you will regain as soon as you start eating again and probably gain more than you lost. Just eat a balanced, healthy diet with plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, lean protein, low fat dairy and whole grains. Don't let your calorie intake drop below 1200 a day and drink 2-3 liters of water a day and exercise. Do cardio 4-5 times a week for 30-60 minutes a day and strength training 3 times a day for about 30-60 minutes a day. Good luck!

You might not lose any if you did not eat for a week. Your body would go into a kind of shock and hold on to every extra pound and fat cell, because it doesn't know when it will get the next meal! You should lose weight gradually. It is not healthy to just stop eating, especially for a week!

You might lose a good amount of weight, around 2-8 lbs, but a lot of it will be extra stored water which you'll regain later. After that week, your metabolism will be slower, so you will gain weight more easily. Also, your body will try to compensate for the loss, and may cause you to start binging/overeating.
Eat 1200-1500 healthy calories a day and exercise. Good luck.

Thats not good at all but if you was to that you wouldnt lose to much and you'll be starving yourself for nothing because when you dont eat your body is just storing more fat because you starving so you will actually gain weight. My friend actually did that for two months and she fell out and went thru all that pain and suffering for nothing and she gained 5 pounds so dont do that its a waste of time and bad for your body so just eat healthy and try to walk 2-3 miles a day thats the easiest workout and you'll lose tons of weight

It doesn't matter how much you'd lose by starving yourself cause as soon as you start eating again you'll gain it all back and then some. The proper way to maintain weight loss is with a proper diet and exercise. You can lose lots of weight just by eating right and get as much exercise in as you can.

Ya it's not a good idea to starve yourself, you might loose a couple pounds at first but then your body goes into starvation mode and then the first thing you eat will go right to your fat storage, then your right back where you started. if you are gonna loose weight, cut down what you eat normally and exercise a little bit more, but the trick is to make it a permanent change.

do you hear yourself?
you actually want to try starving yourself for one week? 168hours? 10080 minutes? 604800 seconds?
what is so important that you want to starve yourself?
no guy, dress, or social event is important enough for you to deny your body proper nutrition.
besides, when the body is denied food for a period of time, your metabolism slows down and your body starts to conserve fat (ie. body's source of energy). you'll end up losing very little.
propper diet and excercise is the only way to lose weight and to keep it off.

In order to lose one pound, you need to burn off 3,500 claories. How many calories have you been consuming per day, on average?
