since march ive been watching what i eat, like making sure i dont eat too many calories, ive jogged at least 20 minutes a day, if not more, made sure i did crunches, leg lifts and other abdominal exercises at least every night, and i occasionally run up and down stairs...ive slimmed down just a little, as far as my belly is concerned. everything else is toned and looks great! but theres like a ring of fat around my belly, just under my belly button, so basically my lower abs, that wont tone up.. i feel like im doing everything i can but nothing seems to be working. any suggestions?

Well, cutie, there are some realities in life that we just have to accept sometimes. Let me review this:

You work out regularly, and you've slimmed down in the belly. What you don't recognize is that you are probably living healthier than ever before. THAT'S A GOOD THING. Now, losing that last piece of fat may require you to get to a body fat percentage that is unhealthy. So DON'T FRET OVER WHAT YOU SEE AS IMPERFECTION.

You have already changed your lifestyle. Drink lots of water, slowly and gradually increase your jogging to an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning. Keep up your other exercises. Eat fruits & vegetables.

No sugar
No sodas
No candy
No chips
No potatoes
No pasta
No pizza
no corn
no bread
no burgers
no fried foods

Good Luck

Not just doing crunches will help flatten your stomach. If there's any flab you need to do cardio and eat healthy. No coffee, no soda, preferably water. Vitamins are always good and working out. Not to a crazy extent, but 30-60 mins three times a week. Its virtually impossible to get immediate results from exercise and dieting, it takes a month at least. Most times longer.

Honey, how long you have been doing that? It will takes time to burn all the fats you accumulate for years. I would suggest you to take more fruits and vegetable, less carbohydrate like bread, rice, potatoes, oily foods, deep fried stuffs. Jogging is good and 50 sit ups per section. No pain no gain. Good luck !

You have to cut your body fat. You can have awesome abs and look flabby if you have a little too much fat on your stomach.

I have very flat defined abs, I did it by losing weight, doing crunches, swimming and kickboxing.

try a new exercise to work on your lower abs. Lay on your back on a bench. Hold the top of the bench above your head. Raise your legs and put your knees together and bring your knees to your chin. Go slow too.
Hope this works for you. It worked for me
