I see the commercials all the time on tv, and i always notice they never show a price for it. they do show $39 dollars a month but is that for the rest of your life? and is it worth the purchase?

I bought a Bowflex Ultimate in 2002 and paid $2200 including shipping--you pay more when you just pay little a month. Price included the leg attachment and the lat tower.
There are different models with different pricing. The Ultimate has a sliding seat for leg press, calf raises and rowing. Plus it has a bench seat for other exercises. I've noticed the newer ones don't have the bench seat (which means no slider either).
Make sure you MEASURE the space. The Bowflex is HUGE. Mine is 6'11 tall--doesn't fit under the low ceilings of my house, except the porch--and with the leg attachment takes up about 7-8' of floor space. Plus you need about 2-3" of clearance on either side for the power rods to flex.
It is a great machine. The learning curve (setting up all the pulleys, etc) is a little steep but once you have it down, it's nothing to pop up from the seat, change the weight, reposition what you need and sit back down in under a minute.
I have my bowflex upper body routine on my blog (below). My lower one will be up in a few days. Good luck.
