I have seeing this guy for a while now and I know he cares about me and hes been there there for me through some really rough times. So how do I tell him that I have fallin in love with him? He's not the type of person to verbally express his feelings because he's been hurt so many times before. I have to and didn't thinkthat I could ever fall in love again but now I have and I don't know how to tell him. Any suggestions?

Actions speak so much louder than words. Tell him by your deeds.
It's easy to say "I love you..."
But love is a verb
Put your love for this guy into action...this is the acid test. He should be able to hear your heart then.
If he loves you, he will return the love in his actions.
Words can be cheap. Make it count.

The next time you are intimate (however YOU define that word) quietly start crying. When he asks you what's wrong, at first you say "nothing, you'll think I'm silly". He'll keep asking and that's when you tell him "You've been so good to me, and you really mean alot to me, and I think I've fallen in love with you".

He'll either embrace that and reciprocate, or drop you like a hot potato. Either way, you said it, it's off your chest, and you can move forward no matter where that leads.

You'll know when to say it. And if he's feeling it - he'll say it back - in his own time. When my boyfriend told me he loved me, even though I felt it too, I didn't tell him back. I was afraid he would think I was "just saying it because he did" - sounds juvenile but... when I did tell him (just days later) it felt incredible. If you are having doubts about how to say it, maybe you should give it some more time. Good Luck! :)

You could send him a text or write to him. Or mention you have something to say. Just be honest, tell him it is hard for you to say it or you're nervous. Or worried for how he'll respond, whatever the reason it is holding you back from saying it. Just start easy.

Normally, I would say "No, don't say anything!". But I'm old.. what do I know! Ha! Ha! I read through the other answers. I agree with JIM C..... he will be fine with it or he will run scared. I like iambic ch's response........ so if you feel you need to do this, go ahead and do it. Please let us know what happens, okay!

TELL HIM LIKE THIS: I KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN HURT AND IIM NOT THA TYPE OF PERSON THAT WOULD DO IT AGAIN. I REALLY LIKE YOU AND IM STARTIN TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND I HOPE YOU FEEL THA SAME. I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE NOT THE TYPE TO EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS BUT LET ME SO I WON'T BE LEAD ON.

Just do it. Let it kind of slip out. Don't make too big of a deal out of it. Act like it's an every day occurance.

"You've changed my life for the better. I wish I could heal the pain you've felt. Only time will tell if you've fallen in love with me as much as I have with you."

Just be honest with him and tell him how you feel. Both of you may be pleasantly surprised.
