My boyfriend lied to me along time ago when we was broke up that he didnt have a girlfriend well they broke up and now we go and and he wants to say sorry for hurting her and to tell her why he did what he did should i respect this?

Tell him to be a man and live with his decisions, and if he decides to talk to her, you're out!. Avoid him playing you both with the apology game, you're in charge now!, If he insist then let him, and you move on, you don't need him if he does, toss him like a used Kleenex and get someone who truly deserves you. Love yourself and get the respect you deserve as a woman.

Wow.. almost the same thing happend to my friend. If that was a long time ago, then why does he feel the need now to tell her that? The past is the past & he should get over it. Odds are she is over it too, unless there are still feelings involved.

sounds like he trying to keep his (in case you guys don't work out) girl friend door open. Respect him if you like , but don't you kind of wonder at his motive.
