can I divide the recipe?

recipe calls for 9 x 5x 3 in baking pan. tells me to bake at 60 min.(350) if i put it in two pans 8x 4.5 x2.5, how long should i bake? thanks

60 minutes......but i would check it in 50as it is a shallower pan....

You are still baking the same amount of mass therefore you need to follow the recipe to the letter...60 minutes at 350ÂºF

It's the same amount of material a little more spread out (two 8 x 4.5's are about 9x8. Check at 50 minutes to be safe.
