I go to college with him...if that makes any difference. I met him at work, but we go to the same college...and he is 22 now, but he turns 23 in November. He's about 4 and a half years older than me.

We aren't dating, but I think it's something that I'd like to pursue. I was just wondering if it was worth pursuing.

At 18 you are legally an adult, so nobody can stop you if this is what you decide.
The fact that your asking this question thou, suggest to me that you have doubts. You need to talk this over with the guy, as any doubts about the relationship which go unchecked can cause problems later on.
Personnaly, I dont think that the age difference matters- hey its only 5 years.
Age only matters when talking about wine and whiskey

Depends on how maturity of both parties. 5 years difference isn't much. My husband is 16 years older than I am, and it didn't bother us.

No, they're both grown. That was our ages when me and my Husband got married and it's blessed for all of these years.
