I would love to know the answer to this one too. I thought it was just me!

here is the problem, the way "show me another" currently works is by showing you the oldest open question in the current category. unfortuanately, the oldest questions in this category are over a month old. you can test this by sorting by date and checking out the first few questions. i'm sure the yahoo! answers team will be able to fix this soon and we'll be able to see those questions that are about to expire but are still valid and open questions.

(this is similar to how when you go to the voting tab, you may select a question that has recently gone to voting. if you then click on the "show me another" then it will take you to an older question that is in "tiebreaker" status). hope this helps.

You must have a knack for spotting the exact questions that Yahoo security has already forced their asker to withdraw. i have hit a few like that but not a lot. You just have the talent if you hit them all.

Yeah, the same thing happend to me. Maybe they turned it off for now? Or it's just malfunctioning and they aren't doing anything about it?
