There's always going to be problems. I don't think we should nuke all the middle east. A good nuclear firepower demonstration on let's say Iran should do the trick. I don't believe we have a crediable nuclear threat. Sure we have the weapons but I don't think anyone believes we would actually use them.
If we did a demonstration on Iran, and I believe their threats are enough provocation, to justify the attack. Then I think other 3rd world countries might decide attempting to get nukes might not be a good idea if it's going to put you on the target list.
If I had the lauch codes the missles would be in the air right now. I would strike without warning. France might be a good target as well. Their support of terrorist nations is an act of war, and should be punished.

When they you do that (I am certain that mini nukes are a certainty if the current US foreign policy continues as it is) then the problems will really begin. Not only will the US scare the Middle Eastern countries but public opinions will change, alliances will be formed, sanctions will be imposed, global economies will take a hit and a great deal of goodwill towards the USA will be lost for generations.

During Desert Storm we all were actually quite surprised that the Israelis didn't nuke Iraq during their scud tossing frenzy. Some pretty fast talking by the state department went on you can be sure.
A neutron bomb would be a better idea as it would leave the oil and pumping equipment intact.

The idea has crossed my mind on numerous occasions; however, even though Hiroshima and Nagasaki resulted in eventual victory, I'm not sure that in today's world, such aggression would end the crisis. It's a dilemma on so many levels......honestly, I don't ever see the resolution to this in my lifetime.......Religion and zealousness are a cocktail for Armageddon!

It's infuriating to see just how many idiots there are in the U.S. who like to babble on about destroying other countries and other cultures... Columbus fans, no doubt. Morons who like to spew hatred and yell out idiotic slogans like "kill them all and let god sort them out". They have no concept of the reality of war and death en masse... the carnage and suffering that whole nations would endure in a nuclear attack. Party line-babbling idiots! Even if we did destroy the middle-east with nuclear weapons there will always be some nation or some culture of which self-righteous Americans don't approve because they don't look like us or they don't live their lives like we do here in this land of the rich and trailer park societies.
