Christianity is different in that there is nothing we can do to earn salvation. Christianity is not a works based religion. God himself provides everything for us including the faith to believe.

Christianity is different than any other religion because of the first six letters: C.H.R.I.S.T.

God created everything under the Heavens, and also gave his only Son-Christ Jesus-to die for our sins. All other religions are spinoffs of Christianity, some only dealing with one or two books of the bible or follow specific people in the bible.

Only Christianity addresses them all-all religions and all people-multiple places in the entire bible.

Because it is the only religion that answers the "Sin Question!" All of Mankind instinctively knows that there is a God (despite what atheists claim). Man was designed in the image of God, and this knowledge of God is instilled within him from birth. This knowledge of God is also seen demonstrated in Creation so that man is without excuse. We are all created that we inherently know some sense of right from wrong. In other words, to know what is sin or transgression of God's laws, so that no one has an excuse for unrighteousness by claiming that they never read the Bible or heard the gospel.

It is the only religion I have ever heard of that is based entirely on the suicide of a Jewish Rabbi.

If Christians would only think, they would see that orthodox
religion rests upon suicide -- that man was redeemed by suicide,
and that without suicide the whole world would have been lost.

If Christ were God, then he had the power to protect himself
from death. But instead of using his power he allowed them to take
his life.

If a strong man should allow a few little children to hack him
to death with knives when he could easily have brushed them aside,
would we not say that he committed suicide?

There is no escape. If Christ were, in fact, God, and allowed
himself to be killed. then he consented to his own death --
refused, though perfectly able, to defend and protect himself, and
was, in fact, a suicide.
Robert Green Ingersoll, 1894

Christianity is the only religion that has a risen savior, Jesus Christ..... I have heard it said that all the other religions of the world are an attempt by man to reach God whereas Christianity is God's attempt to reach man.......

It has been well said that religion is man's way of trying to deal with his guilt. Different religions have different ways of attempting to rid their adherents of sin and its consequences. They fast, pray, deny themselves legitimate pleasures, or chasten themselves, often to a point of inflicting pain. They do this because they have a concept of what they think God (or gods) is like, so they seek to establish their own righteousness, being ignorant of God's righteousness.

The Good News of the Christian faith is that no one need suffer the pains of religious works. Christ's blood can cleanse our conscience from the dead works of religion (Hebrews 9:14). Jesus took our punishment upon Himself, and He is the only One who can save us from sin and death. See Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

Sure. Serial murderers and rapists can receive their ticket to heaven simply by accepting Christ as their savior.

All the good Jews, Atheists, Agnostics, Wiccans, etc...people who may have lived very good lives and done wonderful things for humanity, are hellbound according to the Christians.

Accept Christ or burn.

No thank you. I don't see the logic, and If going to heaven means I'd spend eternity with the likes of Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer
then I'd rather not be a part of it.

Christianity finds followers by enticing people with food, clothing and education. Isn't that what the missionaries do when they travel to remote and impoverished areas? Not saying that is a bad thing, but what happened to free will? They should give all those things with no strings attached!

It seems to be filled with hateful, hypocritical people who can't understand why everyone doesn't believe what they do, and put them down because of it. By the looks of the questions and answers posted by other religions, they are nothing like the hate being spewed from some of the Christians on this forum.

Christians believe that there are three Persons in One God. Want another? Christians believe that Jesus is both human and divine.
