wtf does I love you but it's over supposed to mean?

How am I supposed to deal with this? I'm 37 years old and figured this was my last shot at happiness....now she tells me this crap...and there's that nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to take a whole bottle of hydrocodone with a couple quarts of beer and have done with it...I'll be flying into LGW and arrive on the 28th...one last attempt...she says she won't be there to meet me but I have to try...what then when I'm there alone and wandering around London by myself? I have always felt that if you love someone you NEVER give up on them where there is still love! I've had money and had none, seen so many things in life, suffered and celebrated, but the most important thing in this life is to share it with the one you love...now I don't feel I have a reason to live.

BUT, seeing as how this is long distance, it could also mean (beneath the surface), "I love you, but I'm also needy, and I need a man here with me, all the time, in London. So as a result, I found someone else to act as a replacement, simply because I am very needy."

A lot of times, we women do tend to be more emotionally needy than men. So if she's all alone in a new environment, feeling lonely and confused, and then a fine gentleman comes along and pursues her, it's easy for her to hook up with this guy, maybe because her immediate neediness surpasses the love she has for you.

I don't know... but good luck. If it works out, hooray for you! And if not, I'm sure you can definitely find someone better. Even at 37, there are a lot of quality women out there looking for a great guy like you!

What she said to you could mean a lot of things: she loves you, but only as a friend, she loves you but can't deal with extenuating circumstances, she loves you like a friend but has found someone else, and/or she is just trying to let you down easy.
There is nothing wrong with trying, but you might just be setting yourself up for a big disappointment. You are still young and you have tons of chances at finding love with a great woman who will love you as much as you love her. If this woman doesn't want to be with you, then she doesn't deserve you and she certainly doesn't deserve to have you chasing after her.
Forget about taking the vicodin and all that crap and remember that you are a great guy and there are tons of women out there who will treat you like a king. Don't give up on life and love just because some woman doesn't appreciate you and doesn't know what she wants.

You could try but if the Eve doesnt feel the same way you do then forget it. Dont waste time and money to win her over, Adam. Ask for refund on your ticket. Go out and find another girl.

Stop being so dramatic, for starters, no wonder she wants out. All I'm seeing in your question is Me Me Me, and how you enjoy your pain. Do you sigh a lot and look at yourself in the mirror to see how miserable you are at the moment? Do you have any pride at all? Who cares if you're flying into LGW? She doesn't, so get over it.

dont listen to that first answer. it probably means she dont want you anymore, trust me, it gets better. you will definately find a girl. but if you truly still want this particular one, the best possible thing for you to do is pretend like you dont even want her. play it like you got all she ever wanted and more. she will be back in your arms in no time.
