I am talking about with both of them at there prime, who would win in a straight up fight, no movie magic, just one on one.

Bruce Lee.
He was the pioneer and prototype of the Mixed Martial Arts.
Lee's Jeet Kune Do is a synthesis of all the known martial arts during his time (kung fu, wing chun, tai chi, kenpo, boxing, etc.). Although, Lee was not able to incorporate Brazilian Ju-Jitsu because it was not well-known at that time.
Bruce Lee used his Jeet Kune Do in the streets of Hong Kong defeating gang members and thugs before he got discovered and started his acting career.
Jet Li is pure wu shu with a small mixture of wing chun. I don't have any info on whether Jet LI has used his martial arts skills in actual street combat.
So, my answer is definitely...Bruce Lee

The Speed & Power of Bruce Lee would devestate Jet Li completely if this match was possible. Bruce Lee was the most complete martial artists of our time....he is the warrior within all of us....JKD is Bruce!!! No disrespect to Jet Li...Im a big fan of his but Bruces raw power and blazing relentless attacks are purely astounding!! Jet Li did acheive many Wushu Medals and is a competent fighter but Bruce actually fought from the streets and into a different plateau....again no disrespect to Jet ...I admire his movies and abilities! All other martial artists around the World know that Bruce Lee was a One-of-a-Kind Fighter!!!

Bruce Lee, his style is for fighting. Everything he did or developed was in the premise of fighting efficiently. Jet Li, while I think he's a great martial artist, didn't make his name in fighting. It was in forms.
