Oh my. You think 34 is "most of his life?" Wait until you meet a 55 year old player. Yes it is possible, but this is not a movie, okay? If your guy has never been married, he is a selfish, self-indulgent, freedom-loving kind of guy. Nothing wrong with that, at least he didn't marry and have his lifestyle on the side.

I have quite a few friends that didn't marry until they were in their 30's, and stayed away from serious relationships, too. Why? They were having too much fun. When they did tie the knot, it wasn't some big kaboom love affair. They had finally matured (or burned out), and they each married an old friend who had been hanging around for a long, long time, referred to in these circles as Mr. (or Ms.) Comfortable.

We all like to think we'll be the one to turn the bad boy around, but players tend to be visual-oriented, for starters, and into games. Players usually get hooked into matrimony only by a really hot female who is smarter at the games than they are. Older players have learned to use the younger hot females as trophies on their arms, and still avoid capture.

Players have a need for attention, and getting married kills that. One person is rarely enough. They are always scoping out the next kill--er, relationship, to see if that person will pay more attention and lavish more riches on them than the current one.

The only way to rope one in is to be totally unattainable, and unfortunately, visually stunning. That presents a challenge to the player, as most are attractive and fun and have no shortage of salivating females around them. It's the one who's friendly, hot and holds back that wins. If you really think he's worth it.

Just have some fun, sweetie, and let HIM call YOU. Take it from there. Don't be in a rush. Maybe he isn't a player after all. Maybe he was just waiting for you.

Yes, it can and does happen. I have a good guy friend who was single and quite the tomcat until he was in his mid 40's. Then, through a combination of meeting the right woman and the timing just being right, he gave up his playboy ways and has been happily married for 5 years now.

It certainly is possible, but I'd be cautious before leaping into a commitment with someone like that. Taking things slowly would allow one to gauge if the person had really changed.

I think that someone who has been a player for so long can change his ways. If he cares enough about you and feels like you are the one he wants to commit to and settle down with then he will.
