Do empty wine bottles have any collectors value?

Restaurants often have empty bottles on display, especially Ruffino Chianti bottles which are encased in a sheath made of some sort of dried leaf. I found a few in the basement and will toss them out if they have no value. Anyone know if I should garage sale them, ebay them or toss them?

there are quite a few people who collect the labels off hard to find bottles. if the bottles are in good condition they can be used for vanity bar set ups. putting them ebay wouldn't hurt, but don't expect to get too much for them.

Probably no value aside from a yard sale. However, for a romantic night, put a taper candle in them. :)
