Please do not give a dictionary or wikipedia definition. In your own words, based on your own opinion, what is an agnostic and what do agnostics believe?
Dictionary &/or encyclopedia definitions will not be considered for best answer or read by me.
Thanks for your answers.

I have seen so many definitions of "agnostic," it isn't clear what agnostics believe.
Hopefully, we can clear this up by having agnostics tell us what they believe in their own words.

The question relates to agnostics, not atheists, theists or anyone else.
I'm not concerned with opinions about atheists or theists.

Thanks, Chris, for your non-answer.
The reason I post those qualifiers is to alert people as to what I will consider when choosing "best answer." If you aren't concerned about "best answer," it doesn't matter, does it?
Obviously, you aren't concerned about anything other than yourself.

Agnostics are people who can't seem to believe to believe or to believe not to believe.
Which means they think and think and think....and still have nothing to conclude! Then they tell you they are agnostic as if it is something that took a great deal of thought!
HMMMMM

Agnostic is someone who remains neutral on a specific area. In religion, an agnostic remains open to any possibility -- theistic god, non-theistic god, no god, etc. They don't currently see evidence to support various depictions of god but they also allow for the possibility that a) these depictions may be true and b) that maybe someday something will yield direct evidence. Some, I think, take the position that we can NEVER know whether these things are true or not; others are even neutral on that and stay open to the possibility that these things may or may not be known. The key is that the agnostic remains completely neutral on areas where there's a possibility that the results can be different. Note that this level of neutrality associated with agnosticism has resulted in its usage in other areas not associated with religion; for example, when software is developed that doesn't rely on a particular communications protocol (can work with various protocols), people refer to it as 'protocol agnostic'.

To me, Agnosticism merely means that one has no evidence either for or against the existence of any supernatural "God" type being. There may be one, some, or many, or there might equally well be none. I simply have not seen any actual empirical evidence of any, so I don't worry much about it. Rather like the Easter Bunny: I don't really worry about its existence absent any evidence for its existence.

Its pretty cut and dry. There is a huge difference between agnostic and atheist. They are almost opposites. Atheist do not believe in God. They believe that there is no such thing or never could be. Agnostics deeply believe in God, the just don't believe that you could ever meet him, or have a relationship with God.

You know I answered this question, then erased it. Your tone is so arrogant, giving instructions of what you will and won't read. I'll take my 2 points and be happy.
