That is the most easiest way to call on someone to embrace a faith that is foreign to him. Imagine spreading the teachings of Christ to a country who does not know him. If one will say Jesus came to save Israel, what interest would it do to the islands you travel half around the world to preach the Gospel? Is there any other way you will find it easy aside from forcing them to believe under barrel of a gun or blade of the sword?

snicker ....sorry, I had a little chuckle there. Gandhi would be rather embarrassed if you started telling people he died for their sins. Besides, how are we going to find him in his present incarnation? Jesus did indeed piss off the Jews, but the Romans couldn't have really cared less. To them Jesus was a Jewish problem and at the time Palestine (like now) was a pain the the imperial behind. Have a good one, Dearheart and Blessings on you...snicker....

Yes the Religious leaders in Jesus' time were pissed off of Him simply because they are afraid that nobody will be listening to their teachings and they know that Jesus was the messiah yet they still rejected Jesus... so they decided to crucify Jesus... what happened then was all part of God's wonderful plan for all the people if and only if the people will truly open their eyes and believe... but people now a days are being blinded by what is going on around us... it's up to us what to believe... we have the freedom to choose to what to believe in... God is not forcing everyone to believe in His Word... the decision making is all up to us people...

As the STORY goes he only pissed off the ruling heads of the Jewish faith by saying he was the messiah.
Jews themselves did not hate him ,but were embrioled in a war with the Romans .
They had to CHOOSE between A military leader ( BARABAS ) or Your so called Jesus the messiah.
Very few actually believed in his powers but they knew of Barabas`s leadership and bravery .
It you were in a war ,would you use a sword or a feather ????
The ROMANS KILLED JESUS.
THE ROMANS only worshiped CESAR........

ghandi didnt die as to take the brunt and the punishment for every sin ever comitted.

if you wanna get really simple, Jesus died for the sins of barabbas, since he took his place on the cross.
now if jesus is divine, he died as 'a spotless lamb' of God to absolve the sins of mankind.

They torchered and killed him because they didn't believe. But he asked our Father for their forgiveness, because they didn't know what they did. That is why we are all forgiven for our sin. That is why when you pray to God, we pray thru Jesus. You need to get some Bible studies, so you can understand. Be careful of what you say. We are all sinners, and need to be forgiven.

Jesus dieing for your sins and why he had to is the central theme of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

It would be less rude if you read the Bible before you insult our GOD.

GOD bless ya anyway.

Because he did. It is Written !

You can preach whatever you want.

We, as Christians, are SPIRIT DRIVEN. We're BLESSED with discernment and know that OUR LORD will not have us IGNORANT, he speaks to us because we have our own individual relationship with him, so whatever you decide to preach is OK...you have free will.

Your followers will believe YOU . WE, AS CHRISTIANS, BELIEVE IN THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD.

Insofar, as Judas, I haven't thought about it since I stopped caring one way or the other about peoples choices to do wrong...That's the LORD'S business.

I'm concentrating on staying in the LORDS will, myself, minding MY OWN BUSINESS..

Sometimes it's hard for us to "BITE OUR TONGUES" especially when folks ask STUPID questions.

You see, it's certain things and subjects we're taught not to dwell on...it helps us to keep our teachings in tact, as Christians.

We are told he died for our sins because it makes for a better story that way. You are more likely to follow the teachings if you feel in debit to him for his kind act.
