No,I think the objective of muslim terrorist is not turning the world against all religions.The total of muslim terrorist is very very small.They exist because a suppressed action of others to muslim and they wrongly interpreted jihad as a struggle for maintaining Islam religion.They are not against all other reli gions.I am sorry they are mislead and confused.Please believe me most muslims are peace lovers.They do not want war.They want to live calm and love and help each others with the same followers and with other religion followers.Indonesia with 90 % of its population or about almost 200 million people are muslims,hate terrorist and our court punished terrorist with death penalty.That is the evidence that we most of muslims hate terrorist whatever his religion.But most muslims will be hurt if someone humiliated and slandered muslims without a strong fact..Muslims all over the world are sisters and brothers just the same with other religions followers.We are all the descendants of Adam and Eve.We must work together to make this world more prosperous and do not make damages.

I can't speak for the whole world, obviously, but as one person, yeah, its doing the trick.
And down the road I can see it too, the world being divided up into the nutcase, violent "true believers" and the rational people who just want human civilization to keep going, and who are *fed up* with the "true believers". :( Not good.
This was NOT the 21st century I wanted to live in so badly growing up, ok? I was hoping for something closer to world peace by now, and something closer to an end to poverty in ALL nations by now, ok?
Really, I was hoping us so-called "thoughtful humans" (literally translate "Homo Sapiens" sometime) would have actually *solved* some serious, meaningful problems by now....
But I guess the Rich Men, and the Religious Freaks they own, just *will not* have that, huh?
It makes me sad for the world is what it does.
I am not sure this is what *any* sort of a God had in mind when he/she/it saw fit to "create mankind in His Image", you know?

Well, we could say this:
NO one is innocent in this act of evil injustice done by not only these Muslims, but the Jews, Christians and everyone else because pretty much they hate each other. They should have a respect for each other because it is obvious that God Almighty is not liking whats going on right now. I think if everyone co-operates with each other, we might find a solution to not only this but I suppost everything else because just like Judaism and Christianity is peace so is Islam. Peace....

Yes they definitely are. It is a glaring possibility that all religion will be blamed for the actions of a few and all religion will be demonized because of the actions of the Muslim extremists

Mousely is correct according to "statistics" (New York Times)etc.
Many more converts to Islam and many more in the West seeking rational info regarding Islam from actual Muslims ( in reaction to irrational "Disinformation" propaganda against Lslam and Muslims)

No, I don't think so. There was a big upswelling in Christianity in the U.S. right after 9/11. I think that if there is a turning against religion now, it is largely a backlash against that upswelling in Christianity.
I think that Religion promotes emotional responses. We need reasoned responses. We need to understand that vengence is counterproductive. We need justice, not vengence. We need to behave ethically. George Bush's use of torture to fight terrorism means that we have sunk to the level of the terrorists.

If that is the way the world is reacting it will be a real pitty. In times of war and fear and confusion many people seek out God for the first time. I hope the churches are prepared for the onslaught.
