Yes, it is quite possible for sores or pimples to show up as a secondary infection. I strongly suggest you go to a dentist as soon as possible. An abcess is an infection and this tooth abcess is NOT that far away from your eyes, and your brain.

No. An Abscess is an infection. It will be swelling and pain around the affected tooth. You may have pain or not, but gum swelling is almost always the case, plus you may have fever and some nasty tasting discharge (pus) that comes out. If you have these symptoms, you need to see a dentist to get a prescription for antibiotics right away. If you have pimples or sores, wash your face and use acne meds.

Yes, if it's really bad. Don't confuse a regular old pimple for a dental abscess, though.
