First thing I would recommend is to not use any pet food that has red chunks in it. Red dye in the food will stain floors red from accidents.
Chemical cleaners on pet stains will tend to just melt that color into a carpet.

To clean up pet stains I wholeheartedly recommend getting a Bissell Little Green Machine. It is a little hot water/cleaner carpet shampooer. See the link below. It is the only thing that truly deep cleans pet stains. We learned of the little green machines on a pet forum, and every one there raved about them.

They are a little pricey, but well worth the investment (~$50). I wish we gotten one sooner before we chemically burned pet stained into the carpet and still had a faint smell.

Get some dog deodorizer spray for use after baths.

Also, use a wire crate for the dog to sleep in, a lot of their smell will stay in their kennel area where it is easy to clean up and wash their mattress pad cover. If they sleep all over the house the smell is going to be spread all over the house.

After dog is house broke...rip out the carpet and get new...I really don't think that stink ever comes out of the under padding. febreeze works only to cover the smell. vinegar will bring out the ammonia in it..Ive tried it all....getting new carpet in two months...thats my christmas present. :}

Clean it every day, however, I would make sure that she went outside to do her business. Clean the area with bleach diluted in water with some soap. Yuk ! That should get rid of the odor. Good luck

Wait until the training is over and get it professionally cleaned. It gets down into the carpet pad, so not a lot of products can get to it.

Spray white vinegar on the pee/poop stains. It will smell like vinegar and then the smell will fade.
