If the code is not in the owner's manual you will have to go to the dealer and have them look it up and punch it in. They don't do it for free either!

What you have is an anti-theft feature programmed into your vehicles stereo system. This prevents thieves from taking it and selling it for drug money. You will have to take your car to the dealer to get it programmed correctly. There is a thing called a program saver that you can get at a lot of parts stores. It consists of a cigarette lighter power plug with a 9 volt battery pigtail. You plug it into the lighter hole and leave the key on if yours shuts off without it on, or in the power receptacle you use for a cell phone that many vehicles come stock with. This keeps the programs going in your car radio and also the computer when the battery has to be removed.

if you or your husband didn't set the code you might go back to the dealer. if you can find the person that had the car before you they might have it. that is if it was bought used.

first of all, tell that ole man of yours to keep his hands off stuff he dont understand, & second of all, i bet he knows how to set it up again. he understands all right, but he doesent understand that its your car. make him reset it & if he dont, then find someone who will. or find the manual for your car & read the setup menu from there. is he jealous of the radio or what? is it makeing love to ya or what? is it growing legs & kicking him or just what the hell is it about your car radio that he dont like? once it is back on par. m,ake saure he cant get to it to screw it up again.
