I can use any or most shampoo's with out any trouble but have to change the brands often as my hairs seems to get use to the one type very fast by the end of the bottle it does not matter if its expenisve or cheap brand my hair will start to dry out. I have tried washing my hair every day I have tried washing it a lot less often even leaving it for a few days. Do you know why this happends do you or know any body that has this trouble with there hair or shampoo.

I am putting this question to the vote as so many said use a Clarifying shampoo but I don't know what this is nobody named any brands so this has really been of little help to me this time I live in Australia and don't know what is meant by this. I don't use hair dryers or curling wounds I just was and let it dry. So It will be left up to you to help me out with this one. Thank you to everybody for the advice. But I really need more help about this

Stop using your straightener, blow dryer and curler and your hair won't be dried out.

It could mean alot...

Poor Diet- whatever you but in your body will eventually come out
Drink plenty of water.

Harsh Shampoo- Always look for shampoos (expensive or not) that is alcohol free, and has low ph.

Trims- If your hair is relaxed, you should get your hair trimmed every time you get a touch up. (That should eliminate the dryness) Keep in mind the the ends of your hair not matter how short or long is the oldest hair you have on your head and the dryer it gets it begins to split up the hair shaft and can cause breakage and shedding.

Conditioning- conditioning is very important also, it will prevent drying your hair out. and whenever possible ( i recommend once a week) try and give yourself a deep conditioner. Any moisturizing conditioner covered with a plastic cap and under a hooded dryer for just 15.

Finally you should always use a leave in conditioner before styling!

Try not to use curling irons frequently and also not too much blow drying.
Depending on the length of your hair, you can get your hair set.
Setting you hair is the healthiest thing you can do, especially if your hair is relaxed.

Like a fair few of the essential things in life, with shampoo and hair products you get what you pay for. Now don't get me wrong, if you find that a supermarket brand gets you the results you want then thats great and I envy you. I'm not knocking supermarket brands. But I have found that my hair goes to hell pretty quickly if I use them for any length of time.
Go to a decent salon or somewhere like Price Attack to find salon products. I know they cost around $20-$25 a bottle but after a few weeks you will probably see your hair improve out of sight.
There are a few reputable brands that I favour the very best of which are Texture Line by artec and also Joico (especially joico kerapro and kpak).
Comb the conditioner through, really working it into the ends and leave it on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. Make sure the water isn't too hot.
Do you use a leave in treatment/moisturizer product after you have washed your hair? Look for one you can use after every wash, before you brush. I love artec Inner Structure spray, its amazing stuff.
Do you comb or brush your hair? What are the bristles on your brush made of? Brushing your hair, at times when it isn't wet, instead of combing it will help to distribute your hair's natural oils through the mid lengths and to the ends of your hair. Using a natural bristle brush will best facillitate this and will be a lot softer on your hair.
Whew....I'm done lol

I agree with the poster who said to try Dove, it really does seem to work well. I've never heard of it not being good to change shampoos like another poster said, but I do switch shampoos often. I also try to use a vinegar rinse on my hair once or twice a month. It's really good for ridding your hair of any sort of build-up, but make sure you condition well. I just bought a new conditioner, I think from Suave, and its supposed to be a more intense type. Make sure you are leaving your conditioner on for at least one minute.

Also, do you color your hair? I've noticed when mine is due for a color I'll have more problems with it.

my hair is naturally dry too so f that bissshh
but for real it happens because your hair gets use to it more common with some people than others, if u have curly hair try a grease ( yes a grease ) like isoplus but just used a dime sized amount and rub n your palms n scrunch on your hair avoid roots, or try vo5 hot oil treatment once a week.

dont forget hairspray gel and mouse contain alchohal so while shes yellin about straight irons n blow dryers those products can do just as much damage-

but yeah a lot of peeps have to change brands often i am one of them and very rarely do i straighten my hair or use a blow dryer im a wash condition grease n let go girl n get mad comps on mah ringlets good luck

from what ive learned its not healthy to change between shampoo's all the time. you should stick with one for about three months. i would switch through many shampoo's but by the end of each bottle my hair was either too greasy or dry. you need to let your hair adjust to the shampoo and it takes about 3 months. be sure to find a shampoo that is right for your hair type, use it for about 3 months and hopefully you will see nice results. i did

actually I do the same thing I buy 2 bottles of shampoo at a time and I alternate. It helps to prevent build up and keeps my hair looking good. Try using Pantene Daily Clarifying Shampoo and always condition your hair.

I do I have to change my shampoo often not only because it doesnt seem to do a great job after awhile but I get a build up that makes my scalp itch. I would suggest using a salon type product called something like tea tree leaf shampoo use it only like once a week and it gets rid of build up and will make your hair more shiny.

You need to use a Clarifying shampoo once or twice a week. Tresemme has a good one. It's very important to use a conditioner after rinsing out the clarifying shampoo, and don't use it more than twice a week.

yes, i agree with the person who said to use a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week...i have dry hair, but i do swap out my shampoos AND conditioners after each bottle. different products have different ingredients...i can use suave for a while, then i have to go to something good, then something mediocre...

i do no longer think of it stops working. For me, I purely end noticing the version. and that i purely want to alter issues up each and every now and then. i do no longer think of there are any set regulations to how lots or how regularly you're able to alter your shampoo. it will nonetheless be sparkling it incredibly is what concerns, i think of. lol
