i enjoy what we call 'pain doré' in québec. basically, its 2 eggs you put in a bowl then add some milk and a little vanilla essence. mix everything. put a slice of bread in the mix (on the two sides) and cook it in a pan. then serve hot with maple syrup (real one!!!)
