Im not really looking for a girlfriend at the moment, but Im just wondering what women feel about a single father that had his wife get killed in a wreck.. Meaning would you date him based on his personality/looks, etc or the fact that he has a kid?

When you say 'had his wife get killed in a wreck' it sounds as though you had her murdered! Surely not... and yes I would certainly look at a single father..if I was ever to become a single mother...which Im not...good luck in your search...

From my standpoint, I would look at you as a man, not a father. The fact that you are a widow may be hard for some women though, because the odds are that you still love your wife. When men get divorced, its usually because things didn't work out. But to me, single fathers are sexy. When a man steps up and takes care of his kid, rather than pawning them off on someone else, its very admirable. I don't think having a kid would hinder you too much in the dating scene, your still a man, and a woman would be attracted to you, not your kid. The kid's a bonus!

Looks dont matter unless you look like a complete slob and you dont take care of yourself. Weather you had a kid or not might matter depending on the person, but to me I would happy as long as your kid isn't a brat! Anyway it would mean more than that I would have to know your personality and more about you personally.

Very sorry to hear about your wife. My heart goes out to you, and your child. And I want say I wish you the best. My advice to you, is to take your time, and you don't find love, it just happens. Someone will love you for who you are. Your not showing up with baggage, you started a life that was taken away from you. Your are not a husband out looking for an affair. You want to meet someone that will love you and your child. They need to know its a package deal. When you love someone you love them unconditionally, and a good women will love you and your child. God watches over everyone, and one day he will give you someone to love again. Good luck!

i would date him on the fact that i like him for who he is not that he has a kid or that his wife passed away or that he was hot or anything like that i mean i would date him cause i wanted to be with him and nothing else
