Because the mirror doesn't absorb light...it bounces back at you. So when you're infront of it, you see yourself. If you can't see yourself, legend says you're a vampire...O_O

put a paper bag over your head and tear two holes in it so you can look thru then. try that :) or hold a flaslight under your chin in the dark
