if you can honestly say that it is right for them to force young girls into plural amrriages, then no. otherwise it is your duty to protect those children.

I don't know the specifics of what you witnessed or experienced, but I do know that he's been accused of some terrible crimes, not counting polygamy.
I believe in polygamy. I am a Muslim woman. It is grown adult making a grown up decision. Look at this society, they sleep around and have "the other woman" but THIS is okay, but grown adults mutually agreeing to an arrangement that works for them IS NOT.
As Muslims, we do practice it a little more strictly on the man, such as that he has to give each woman their own separate living place, he MUST divide his nights evenly with them, he can only have up to 4, and he can't kiss and hug one wife in front of another (something i think christian polygamists allow?)
Anyway, if you're going to testify, just make sure its not against polygamy (practiced between consenting adults).

If you can get protection from the court or the witness protection program I'd go for it. People like him need to be put behind bars. No offense, but I think your dad might need to be there as well, especially since he had a gun outside the court. That's probably illegal.

You have your conscience and spirit to live with the rest of your life. There is right and wrong and you will be held accountable for doing both. You can justify your position all you want, and make excuses all you want - but in the end of it all you have to live with yourself and when you die - you will be called into account by God, for the things done in the body. Yes, you can say that he would have killed you, and you are probably right, but, you know what you should have done - or you wouldnt be asking us the question - now would you?
