I got a perm about 8 weeks ago, and it made my ends all frizzy. So now I want to dye my hair brown. Is that a bad idea??

I would suggest a trim first, and while you are in the chair, discussing how long you should wait for dyeing. Perms are devastating to the hair cuticle, and if you dye too early, you are going to get some really messed up results.

too much perm or hair color will make your hair frizzy.you either can trim hair but it might still be frizzy if perm was left too long on you, while being set. You should wash hair with a extra strength conditioner, that for extra dry hair. Don't take all conditioner out, when rinsing. After drying with a towel, put some gel in your hair, let it dry naturally, than lightly comb it.It will show the waves or curls with no frizz. Don't put a lot gel, just a little squirt. I do this with my spiral perm, it really looks nice, not greasy, just wavy.

I would try a deep conditioning treatment first. Otherwise you are just going to dry out your ends even more. Either that or get a trim.

It'll dry your hair out even more...try using a conditioning treatment from now and and then see how your hair reacts to that...if it gets healthier then go for your colour.
