If you were truly a responsible breeder, you'd know the answer. Do not breed for profit or to "experience the miracle of birth". There is alot of homework that must be done on your part and your question indicates that you just started doing it. It takes years for a responsible breeder to complete this homework assignment.

If you are certain you want to bred her, then wait until at least her second heat. The first one normally comes on when the female is around 5-7 months old. She is still a puppy herself, she would not make a good mother this young. A little older and she will be more settled down and more mature. The second heat will happen about 6 months after her first one. Think of it like the difference between a 14 year old mother and a 20 year old mother. Which would you pick?

If you have to ask this question in a chat room... you shouldn't be breeding a dog in the first place! And you don't know how long a heat cycle is??????????????????? People like you are the reason we have so many unwanted dogs on this planet! You have NO clue what you're doing but you're going to do it anyway.

It's always best to wait till their 2nd heat. They usally heat every 6 months and it last 3-5 days. If you do breed make sure you have good homes for the puppies.

you should wait till her 2nd or 3ed heat. if u do it sooner rather than later u can stunt their growth. thats NOT recommended! they should last about as long as an average womans period 3-5 days, but it does depend on the dog. all dogs are diffrent, depending on size, age, and breed. they usually have 2 or 3 heats a year. when they r pregnant it lasts about 60 days before they have pups.

There are plenty of dogs in the world already...let her be a virgin or better yet get her spayed.
You may be able to find good homes for her puppies but can you guarantee that the puppies puppies will be cared for? Over one third of all dogs in the US endup homeless at sometime during their lives. Some get new homes but many also get run over, starved, beaten and shot as pests. Just say "No more puppies!"

You really do not want to breed on her first heat. It is very unhealthy. Wait until her second heat and then after she stops bleeding is when she is ready to be bred. I hope that this helped you . Good luck and best wishes.

whilst they get milk its generally a million-2 weeks earlier hard artwork. generally occurs interior a million week inspite of the incontrovertible fact that. she would be waiting to start up nest in her whelping container ("Making her mattress" it is scratching up despite you have in there) she would be waiting to place down then come back up start up scratching back and could be panting quite perplexing whilst she is in hard artwork so it may desire to be each time. She have no discharge inspite of the incontrovertible fact that. i could make a visit to the vet. may be a intense an infection that could kill her and her domestic canines. although, if she is approximately to have her doggies she would be waiting to be doing the heavy panting besides as straining.

Well, It really depends on how big she is.
Plesae DO NOT breed her before her 3rd heat.
This can cause death to the mum I have expericne with this.
Good Luck with the future pups!
