But I mean if you're not sick, and you're still young and everything, and you just don't care either way whether you keep living or not.

It depends on what your frame of mind is. If you don't care if you die, then there may be something wrong (such as depression). If it's just a matter of knowing that everyone dies, and being at peace with that, then I would say no. (I don't think I actually worded this whole thing the way I meant to, but I think I got my point across.)
Basically, if you don't care if you live or die, then yes. If you are just ready to accept that it is a part of life, and the life cycle, then I guess no.

I think that's also a symptom of youth. When you're young (I'm talking about teens through twenties here, from my personal opinions and observations...) you're invulnerable. You have the world and all of your life to live. You know somewhere in the back of your mind that Death is eventual and inevitable, but that's not important right now, you'll deal with it later. As you watch the number of candles on the cake get bigger and bigger, you start to sweat about it more.

Some people are fairly secure in their beliefs, then again, it is easier to not fear death when you are not facing it. But, unless you are actively seeking death, then no, there is nothing wrong with you simply because you don't fear passing away.

Your loved ones will always fear it more than you do. They are the ones who would acutely feel your loss. I certainly do not fear dying for myself... but I would like to know that my sons are in a position to take care of themselves before I ever go.

Live your life to it's fullest while you are here, have no regrets when it is your time. Always let your family and friends know that you love them and appreciate them. No matter when it is your time to go, it will never seem to them to have been enough time, so make sure it is "high quality" time you spend with them.

Being at peace with yourself is a wonderful thing.

Well, if you are not sick and yet not scared of dying, then there is something very right with you ( instead of doubting if something is wrong !).
The deepest of fear is about death, and overcoming it takes a lot of understanding, perceptionally. If it has occurred in a person, he should be considered blessed !

There is a difference between being scared of dying and wanting or not caring if you die.

A christian and as far as that goes the Muslim should not by thier faith be scared of death, but they should not want to die, but want to live, just not be scared to die if it happens.

If a person does not care if they live or die, that is a mental issue.

Not at all, most of the time means you live without fears, and without regrets of the things you have done. Everybody should live that way.

Everybody is going to die eventually some way or another, You can't go around worrying about it, because thats not living. If you have your life in order, you shouldn't care.

No it doesn't. Either you haven't found your calling life, or you just don't care. Either way, The Great Spirit will call for you when it is your time.
