Depends on what you mean by "worked out". I've met some normal people on-line. It didn't work out long time because of compatibility issues, but the same is true for people that I met through church, work or school. You meet the same type of people on-line that you would meet at the mall, so I don't see why people think that Internet dating sites are weird. You certainly meet better people this way than you would probably meet at a bar or a club.

One of my...ahem...'friends' has, but then again, she will go out with anything, and anything will go out with her if you get my drift. All of the guys she has met (and fallen in love with) have been guys that you wouldn't meet in nice places or through nice friends, they have all been unemployed, long haired, tattooed guys that still live with their parents, but then again, she is tattooed, lives with her mom and is unemployed, so I guess she found what she's looking for!! I'm sure there are great guys out there on the net, just don't go to the free sites, the way I figure...if a guy is willing to pay for a nice profile, then he is serious about finding a nice girl that he can have a relationship with and the same is true for a girl. Good luck!

I think this could go either way! But , in my case ..Yes I have! I dated a guy I met via the Internet and we was together just over a year..that was in 2001 when we just stopped dating, I still see him from time to time, and we still enjoy being together! I have never even had a cross word between us! I suppose I may marry him someday! ;)

A friend of mine is dating someone she met on Match.com. I just met him over the weekend and if that is the best these sites have to offer, I will stay home with my kitties.

Dating for 2 years and going good.

Lots of bullshit, look for the truth, don't stand for any lies, bullshit, things hidden, etc. All the truth, no surprises = better chance for success.

Toodles

Oh, by the way, it was on Y! Personals (I should get credit for that!!!!!!!!!)
