Herald Square (34th Street, from about 5th to 7th Avenue) is a great place to shop. There is a Macy's, H&M, Forever21, Gap, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, Banana Republic, Express and lots of other cheaper stores as well. There is a mall on 33rd and 6th Avenue with lots of stores with inexpensive merchandise as well. It is a very central area - several subway lines go there. It's also just a short walk from Times Square. I would recommend walking along Broadway, from 42nd Street to 34th Street - there are lots of little accesory stores and shoe stores as you walk down. It's a nice way to walk off your lunch too.

Shop around Broadway below 8th street... or on 8th street or St. Marks are good affordable unique stores. There are a bunch of places around Canal... getting lost on those little streets on the Lower East Side and around Chinatown you can really find some cute places... some are expensive, others affordable.

If you want inexpensive (and I do mean inexpensive) go the Canal Street - you can walk over the Greenwich Village for a different type of shopping or more touristy and go down the South Street Seaport.

GO TO JAMAICA AVENUE they have everything trust me i use to go there any other day very cheap some may be expensive youll love it cause i do
