Which would be better for thick hair the 1" or 2" CHI Turbo? Are CHI's reliable straightners?

Very good straightener. Worth the money. Now then, the size that you want depends on the length of your hair. If you have long hair then get the bigger one. If you want to save money on it, go to: www.harmondiscount.com. They have really good prices and you can shop online if there isn't a store near you.

chi's are really good
you might as well go with the bigger one since you are gonna use it alot, probably.
