No. Tea, coffee, red wine, and smoking do not make your teeth "go yellow".
They will leave a superficial black or brown stain on them, just like teacups or coffee mugs eventually get stains.
As someone said earlier, you could rinse your mouth out with water after each cup, but it sort of ruins the effect, doesn't it? Instead, your dentist will polish it off for you occasionally.
However, teeth are naturally a yellowish colour, and this will darken thru the effects of aging. Get used to it and try to grow old gracefully. Honestly, I have 70yo patients who has the whitest teeth I've ever seen because he keeps bleaching them - when I first saw him, I thought he had dentures!
Have a look at the colour of your Grandma's teeth (if they're real!), or some photos of the old Queen Mother. Now SHE didn't have tooth whitening or veneers when she was 100yo!

Usually, black tea stains your teeth (drumroll..................) BLACK! I know, it's hard to believe, but that's true. It would typically show up first as a black line pretty much outlining your teeth right at the gum level.
I don't know what other additives might be in your brand of tea, so I can't rule out the tea as a source for yellow stain.

Coffee will cause yellow teeth but I haven't heard of tea doing that.

I don't know about tea staining your teeth yellow, but tea and coffee can stain your teeth. Usually black though.

YES! According to my Dental Hygenist, it's more difficult to remove tea stains than coffee...they both yellow teeth....

No it turns your teeth gray. I know because the same thing happened to my sister. She drank black tea and now she has gray teeth

Any tea can stain your teeth as well as coffee,smoking,and many other different foods.I brush with a whitening toothpaste and it seems to be enough to keep my teeth decent.

Any beverage other than water can stain your teeth. Rinsing after drinking will help lessen this outcome.

if you take good care of your teeth and see a dentist regularly, then it shouldn't stain your teeth!
