To get your hair straight, you might want to buy a straightener. They go for $10-30, depending on the quality you want, in retail stores/drugstores everywhere. Although if you straighten your hair frequently it will make your hair even drier. To make your hair shinier and less dry (moister?) you might want to look for special types of shampoo. Since practically every brand has a type tomake your hair shine, just look at the types of your favorite brand. As for the straightening shampoo, you might want to try John Frieda's Straight On Frizz-Ease shampoo and/or conditioner, which go from $10-14 in retail tores/beauty salons. It works well, but I still need to use a straightener on the sides of my hair (side bangs) when I tie my hair back. Every day that you straighten any part of your hair, you should wash (or at least wet) it afterwards, and it wouldn't hurt to do it before, either.

I use Pantene Extra Straight shampoo and conditioner. and then the L'oreal straighting stuff in a pink bottle. It is made to be used with a flat iron. This combination works great for my frizzy wavy hair.
Here are the Product sites:

I use John Freida Products for Blondes....they are great!!!
I have really dry curly hair too, but I just use his shampoo and conditioner for my hair color then blow dry my hair on low till its almost dry (not completely dry) then I use a ceramic straightner to get rid of the frizz.
Also, if your hair is naturally dry and you blow dry it, its best not to eash it but every couple of days!!!
Frizz Ease also helps with the frizz....but I adore John Frieda Products just because they work so well!!!!
:)

ummm. lets see i have used REDKEN SO SOFT and that has worked for me as far getting rid of frizzies and dryness. As far as straightening it i use a ceramic flat iron that i bought at a professional beauty salon and before i use the flat iron i use a product from MATRIX that is designed to protect your hair from flat iron damage. I hope this helps!
