I am just curious why some adults are giving kids answers to their homework on this website??? Why not tell them to look up the answer on search engines or something?? I can understand explaining how to come up with an answer, but to GIVE them the answer. Wouldn't that tick you off if it were your child?? How are they going to learn the work if someone is giving them the answer to it???

Just because they are adults doesn't mean they know what the devil they are talking about. Some of them can't even construct a question properly. It says something about something that's not working. Notice the Check Spelling. Too many of them don't even do that. It's a sad state of affairs for sure.

I answer questions with explanations... personal policy. It does depend on the student being honest about what they are asking for and using the information properly.

Checking answers is fine with me. I go over my kids' homework with them... not every child has that luxury.

yeah. you do have a good point because the kids will never actually learn the information this way. however, depending on the person sometimes you need to work backwards, finding the answer fisrt then figuring out how the heck they got it.

actually no i dont think i would get offended if an adult gave my child and answer here on yahoo becuase sometimes you have to know the answer to a question to find the work to get there, also if my children are on the computer i am sitting beside them seeing whta they are doing i dont allow my children to be on alone i think that people like you should get a life and quit worrying about this type of thing and worry more about raising your children and please dont tell me that you ahev no children becasue if you dont have children then you have no right whatsoever to question a parent about anything to do with thier children. so if it helps a parent like me to help my children online by getting the answer then finding out how to do the work then so be it
