This happened with my girlfriend. She explained that with many people all their stress would go into her feet. But I massaged her and her feet. While massaging her upper body she would get the cramps and I would massage them out of her feet.

Also it would sometimes happen after sex. My advice is more frequent sex and massage even if yo have to get a pro for massage. Sometimes it was like the stress would leave other areas to finally go into her feet. In movie Pulp Fiction a guy said that massaging a woman's foot is as intimate as performing oral sex on her.

Reflexologists are pro foot massagers. They say there are all these nerve endings in the foot that connect to different organs of the body. So massaging the foot helps all these organs.

Some people that don't have natural arches, like me, tend to get cramps, you may need to buy artificial arch supports to put in your shoes to help to evenly distribute your weight as you walk throughout the day. I find rolling my foot on a glass bottle while sitting brings great relief.

The reason is uric acid builds up in the capillaries.
I know the cure is simple (but doctors don't know it) : you need an all natural mineral supplement in your body to break down the acid. I'm taking a different product by the same company that makes them now and they have cured my depression. They are inexpensive, easy to take and there are NO negative side effects. email me for more info. I'd love to help!

This happens to me as well. I don't know about you, but I have REALLY flat feet, (no arch at ALL). You may want to try a more supportive shoe. New balance has some great shoes if flat feet is your problem.

Plantar fasciitis? It could be an inflamation of the soles of your feet.
Give it a good stretch upwards, and hold for a long while. See if the increased blood flow helps...

And wear arch support. Go for the good stuff, no cheap rubber or gel, or you'll waste your money

Are you a runner? Walking a lot? On your feet a lot? You might need shoe inserts (more cushion). It could be a number of things, the tissue (band of tissue) on the bottom of your foot could be inflamed (plantar faceaitis (sp?)) - or you might need more calcium if it's like a charlie-horse type cramp.

Maybe you have a problem with your arch. You could need better arch support shoes. Just ask a foot doctor.
