Are there any evangelical denomination that have outright denounced Bush and the Neocon policy? Does anyone think there might be something wrong? Why are Christians so quick to believe the administrations official version of things. I know that our spirituallity is based upon faith alone, but that type of thinking shouldn't translate into the temporal aspects of life such as secular government.

I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state and am alarmed at the blurring of these lines in the evangelical denominations. I am a member of a southern baptist church where the pastor is a firm believer in this separation but that seems to be a rarity around here. I am definetly against our foreign policy in the middle east and feel that Bush and the current administration have put the U.S. resources, people and reputation in an untenable international position. There is a definite void in sound judgement in the current administration and I do not see a whole lot of hope for the future. I pray that Jesus will return soon!

I talk to people, Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Where are the people who like Bush!!? They are out there, as they seem to be pushing their agendas thru, too often. But, I for one, know of only 2 people who actually are not wholly against him. And, people are even afraid of what he as done, and is doing, to our country. It will takes decades to have a respected place on this earth again.

I don't think most black evangelicals are crazy about him. I like him overall, but there have definitely been things we've disagreed on like spending i.e. medicare) and pushing for the Jews to leave Gaza.
