Don't ask him out anymore. But don't be surprised if he turns around and asks YOU out in a week or two!

I'm not in favor of asking guys out, to be honest. It seems to work better if you make it easy for him to ask you out, and let him work up the courage to do it if he's shy.

It's something about testosterone; they like to at least think they're taking the lead.

For the same reasons a girl does:

-We dont find you atractive
-We dont like you that way
-We think you are only good as a friend
-We were just being nice to you and you got carried away
-Its not our fault we are the only friend you got from the oppsite sex
-We just wanted to be friends
-We were drunk and whatever we did would have never happened if I was sober
-I was just showing affection in a caring way, I wasnt trying to turn you on

And so on and so forth. Cheer up! Everyone has been or eventually will be in either side: the rejected or the rejector. Dont let this get you down! Move on! Dont take pitty friendship from him or any kind of pitty.

What if? Is this a question? What are your options? What should you think? How should you reply?

Remember, he has things going on. If he goes out with you it will be like opening a hornets nest. Besides, you many have a reputation which he does not want to be included in.

That happened to me recently. I asked the guy I like to homecoming and he said no. Then I found out from my friend (who's friends with him) that he wanted to be close friends with me.

So I guess find out if he still at least wants to be friends. Ask someone to ask him, or better yet, ask him yourself.

Good luck!
