I know that the hood is the same in those years...the only thing i see different is the grill and emblems.

Do a visual on the two side by side! If they look the same,they probably are the same, as the bodies on "trucks" generally remain the same(for several years), - except for visual changes, (I don't know what the 2007 body looks like yet, so I can't say for sure!) You might have to modify mounting points to match new one, but usually they are the same too!

I'm assuming that you want people to think you have a newer truck!

I very own a 2000 Ford Ranger, and merely like all of us else spoke back NO, yet there are conversion kits you need to purchase to equip your 2000 front end to look like the greater moderen Rangers. I even have researched this because of the fact i replaced into going to do the comparable concern, yet became out to be somewhat greater desirable than i had to spend.

I don't think it will a 96 will but I think the 97 is different
